FactorHelp is proud to announce that Thomas G. Siska, a 20 year veteran in the Factoring and small ABL industries, has joined the firm as Managing Director. Tom will be in charge of all long-term strategic planning as well as day-to-day operations. "FactorHelp is already proving to be a solid resource for Factors, both big and small, even with its short tenure. We will be offering many products that Factors use every day. Rather than each Factor 'reinventing the wheel', we'll do it once and allow for customization. Any ability to cut time & expenses will be welcome in today's ultra-competitive market. We are also providing consulting services to address most any concern, be it Credit, Sales, Operations, Finance, Budgeting, etc."

Mr. Siska began his career in 1984, building the Chicago Operations Center for Riviera Finance from the ground up. Once that office was operating autonomously, Tom convinced Riviera ownership to expand beyond the US border and opened Riviera Canada in 1989. In 1990, he was promoted to National Sales Manager and later moved to the home office in California in 1992. At that time, Riviera Finance had over 25 Sales Centers scattered throughout the United States and Canada. Tom left Riviera in 1994 to turnaround a struggling asset-based lending firm, Concord Growth Corporation (CGC) in San Jose, CA. With $2.5 million in new equity, Tom established a de novo Factoring Division (now Bay View Funding) and grew the ABL side of the business. After just 29 months, CGC sold to Bay View Bank for a total premium of $30 million. Tom then joined GE Capital as Senior Vice President/Western Region Manager for GE's small Asset Based Lending & Factoring Division. GE exited the business a short time later. Since January of 2002, he was National Sales Manager for AmeriSource Funding (ASF). ASF is currently enjoying record sales volumes with minimal charge-offs.

Mr. Siska holds degrees in both Finance and Marketing from DePaul University in Chicago (1983). He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago (1990) with a Specialization in Finance and a Concentration in Accounting. He has been published numerous times over the years in many business and trade publications nationwide including local Business Journals and the National Association of Credit Manager's (NACM) Business Credit magazine. Most recently, his writings were published in the April and June '03 issues and the April '04 issue of the ABF Journal.

Thomas has been a member of the Commercial Finance Association (CFA) since 1987 and was a Board Member and Co-Founder of the Northern California Chapter for the CFA. Currently, Tom is President & Co-Founder of the Chicago Chapter of the National Funding Association and can be reached at (847) 498-9136 or by email tsiska@factorhelp.com.
